I'm a fifth year Human Factors Doctoral Student at Old Dominion University. I received a B.A. in I/O Psychology from Christopher Newport University in 2003 and an M.S. in Experimental Psychology from Old Dominion University in 2006.
I am currently working with Dr. James Bliss and Dr. Poornima Madhavan on my dissertation. My research interests include trust in automation, sonification design, simulator fidelity and transfer of training.
For the past two years, I have held a research assistantship with the Army Research Lab (ARL) at the U.S. Armed Forces Joint Futures Command in Suffolk, Virginia. We are currently evaluating model-driven decision support systems to facilitate military campaign planning.
In addition to my research responsibilities, I'm actively involved in ODU's Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) Student Chapter and the Industrial/Organizational Psychology Student Association (IOPSA). Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about our program or any of our student groups.
